Spiced Pumpkin Pie
Serves: 10
Ingredients
- 500g sweet pastry
- 500g pumpkin purée
- 3 eggs
- 75g soft brown sugar
- 25g maple syrup
- 200ml Millac Gold
- 1g ground cloves
- 2g ground cinnamon
- 1g ground nutmeg
- 2g ground allspice
- 2g ground ginger
- toasted pumpkin seeds (to garnish)
Method
Line a flan ring with the pastry and bake blind for 20 minutes.
Whisk together the eggs, spices, maple syrup and sugar.
Add the pumpkin purée, Millac Gold and mix well.
Pour the mixture into the pastry case and bake for 45 minutes at 180°C.
Remove and allow to cool.
Sprinkle the toasted pumpkin seeds over the pie before serving.
